We hired Katie as our son’s college coach when he decided to apply for seven private colleges back East. Katie made the process easy and understandable and knows the unique language of the college application so well. She guided him through his essay writing. With her support, our sons’s essays were clearer and met the word limits without losing his original text or intention. She helped him distill his activities, awards, and honors into chunks of information that were compelling and achievement-oriented for the Common App. She knew just what to focus on! Best of all, we didn’t have to tell our son to work on his application – he knew Katie was coming each week and that he had assignments to do to prepare for the session.
